Francesco Colaleo (born in Naples in 1988) is a freelance dancer, choreographer and teacher who graduated from the Centre National de la Danse de Lyon.
He began his contemporary dance training at Labart TCS in Naples, before joining the Venice Dance Biennale under the direction of Ismael Ivo. In 2010, he joined the MoDem Workshop of the Zappalà Danza Company and officially joined the company in 2011. Between 2012 and 2018, Francesco collaborated with several companies and artists, including Cie Anou Skan (FR), Cie Artemis Danza (IT), Emma Cianchi, and Antonello Tudisco. In 2021, he participated in a project for Maison Hermès under the direction of Christian Rizzo and began a collaboration with Cie Aurelia (FR), directed by Rita Cioffi, as well as with Sarah Chlaouchi (Sursum Corda company). Since 2014, he has also worked with Cie Tiziana Arnaboldi (CH). At the same time, Francesco is involved in teaching and teaches as a guest professor at the CCNR under the direction of Yuval Pick, at the CNSMD in Lyon, at the CND in Lyon, at the Avignon Opera, as well as in several training centers in France and abroad.
In 2014, he co-founded the Cie MF | Maxime & Francesco with Maxime Freixas, an artistic research space where humor, physicality and commitment combine to question the relationship with the public and make their creations accessible to all.
Maxime Freixas (born in Béziers in 1989) is a freelance dancer, choreographer, shiatsu practitioner and teacher, graduated from the Centre National de la Danse de Lyon.
He trained in contemporary dance at the Epsedanse center in Montpellier and Mondap'ART in Saint-Dionisy, before joining the Ballet Junior de Genève in 2010 to perfect his skills. His career began in 2007 alongside Bruno Agati, and he has since collaborated with numerous companies and choreographers, including Patrice Barthès (Patrice Barthès & Cie, FR), Nathalie Bard (Ballet Actuel, FR), Ron Howell (IT), Alain Gruttadauria (Compagnie Licorne, FR), Monica Casadei (Artemis Danza, IT), Manfredi Perego (MP Ideograms, IT), Daniela Clementina De Lauri (Elsewhere Company, FR), Justine Tourillon (Compagnie du Tourillon, FR), Sarah Chlaouchi (Compagnie Sursum Corda) and Tiziana Arnaboldi (CH). At the same time, Maxime Freixas is involved in teaching and works as a guest professor at the CNSMD in Lyon, at the CCNR under the direction of Yuval Pick, at the CND in Lyon, at the CRR in Lyon, at the Avignon Opera, as well as in various training centers in France and abroad.
