FALLING SUPERSTARS

"What is a superstar? Can a superstar fall from the sky? What does ‘super’ mean? What role am I supposed to play in society, and how should I behave? How can I express my personality within a group? How can we be

connected to one another?"
The dimension is slightly offkilter, evoking astronomical images of stars and

the idea of celebrating and being a superstar in today’s society.
"Feel the energy, the breath, the temperature, the light, the love... feel like a

shining diamond inside you."
Human constellations create the absurd suggestion of an extraordinary event falling from the sky (or not).
It’s not conceptual at all, even if the premise might ironically suggest

something else. A section of contemporary dance is offered to the audience,

infused with the irony and humor of not taking oneself too seriously... and

then something drifts, gets lost, and becomes air, light, and chaos.
